DEBATING

We were again successful this year in securing a place to compete in the Primary Debating Festival,
organized by Concern Worldwide.

This is a great learning experience for those involved.
Congratulations to the children from 5th and 6th class who were selected for the debating team:
Abbey Horan, Oskar Kubiak, Faye Scanlan, Camille Pegat, Sarah Shanley, Clara Erin Merayo Brown
and Aidan Larkin.

Our first debate is on Thursday, November 14th and the motion, which we are proposing, is “Every person in Ireland should be given a bike.”
